WHY I'M RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION
When I asked for your trust four years ago, I made three key promises: to take care of our officers’ mental and physical health, to fight crime with relentless focus, and to build the most innovative and technologically advanced police department in the country. We have kept those promises. Crime is down across the board, officer wellness is stronger than ever, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is leading the nation in technology that saves lives. But this is only the beginning. Together, we will build on this momentum and deliver the safest future our community and our visitors have ever known.
2026 PLATFORM
1. RELENTLESS CRIME REDUCTION
Promise Made: I promised to drive down violent crime in ways our community had never seen before.
Promise Kept: We achieved record declines in crime, including a nearly 35 percent drop in homicides since 2021, double-digit reductions in robberies, and the lowest overall crime levels in four years.
Next Step: I will build on our record crime reductions by targeting those driving violent crime, forging stronger community partnerships to develop new solutions, and creating lasting safety and stability for our neighborhoods.
2. STRONGER OFFICERS, SAFER COMMUNITIES
Promise Made: I promised to take care of the mind, body, and soul of our officers so they could better protect our community.
Promise Kept: I created the LVMPD Wellness Bureau and made wellness a core part of our culture. We expanded access to mental health clinicians, peer support, and wellness programs for officers and their families, reducing suicides to historic lows and helping make LVMPD a national leader in recruitment and retention at a time when other agencies are struggling.
Next Step: I will build on this foundation by expanding wellness services to include families and ultimately all first responders, ensuring that those who protect our community have the support they need at home and on the job.
3. TECHNOLOGY THAT SAVES LIVES
Promise Made: I promised to make LVMPD the most technologically advanced police department in the country.
Promise Kept: We delivered on that promise by launching one of the most advanced Drone as First Responder programs in the world, modernizing CSI technology, deploying cutting-edge crime analytics, and transforming how we solve cases. These innovations have made policing faster, smarter, and more efficient while saving lives and taxpayer dollars.
Next Step: I will expand on this success by taking innovation to the next level, leveraging rapidly evolving technology to increase efficiency, enhance officer safety, hold criminals more accountable, and improve quality of life across our community so we stay safer, smarter, and always one step ahead.
4. SAFER ROADS, SAFER FAMILIES
People are dying on our roadways at an alarming rate. I will confront this crisis through enforcement, smarter design, legislation, the courts, and community outreach to reduce fatalities and protect every driver, passenger, and pedestrian.
5. PROTECT AGAINST EVOLVING THREATS
I will strengthen counterterrorism efforts to keep our community safe in an increasingly complex global environment.
6. STRONGER PRESENCE, SAFER NEIGHBORHOODS
I will expand LVMPD’s engagement with the creation of new area commands in Hollywood and Skye Canyon, putting more officers in neighborhoods, improving response times, and strengthening community connections as Clark County continues to grow.
